Almost every age group, irrespective of region, is affected by these threats. We need to be more aware of and better educated about technological developments so that we can protect ourselves from these threats.
India today is witnessing a rapid expansion of digital infrastructure, and almost everyone has acquired a digital identity. We need to be as conscious of our identity in the digital world as we are of our identity and surroundings in the physical world—at home, at the workplace, or in public spaces. Such awareness is essential to protect ourselves and our near and dear ones from cybercriminals and other anti-social elements.
